Banning Varsity Football Practice – Summer Camps Begins
July 27 @ 2:45 pm – 6:45 pm
As a reminder, California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) mandates a 5-day acclimatization period before a player can wear full pads. Every athlete must complete this progression in sequence:
- Days 1–3: Helmets only.
- Days 4–5: Helmets and shoulder pads.
- Day 6 and beyond: Full pads..
Additionally, the CIF requires that every player completes 10 days of practice before they can participate in a scrimmage or game.
